In-home supportive care refers to non-medical assistance provided in a person's own home to help with everyday activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), such as personal care, companionship, light housekeeping and meal preparation. It is different from home health care, which involves skilled medical services provided by licensed clinicians.
